Submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts and manuscripts showing original contributions for Photonics Prague 2011 Conference. All abstracts and manuscripts must be written and presented in English.

Posters

Each poster contributor will be provided with one panel measuring 145cm (height) x 115 cm approximately . Posters must be displayed by the author(s), and it is essential, that authors make themselves available for discussion at scheduled time. Please be prepared to give handouts of your poster for distribution.

Submission of Abstract

Abstracts submissions must be provided online before June 1, 2011. For submitting an abstract at first please create your user account. Once you have set up your account, you will have the access to submit an abstract or edit data submitted. You may log in and out at any time within the applicable deadline.

  3. Fill/Edit your "Abstract Submission Form"
An abstract should not exceed 300 (at least 250) words and in order to facilitate the reviewing process. It should also contain:
  • preferred type of presentation (oral/poster)
  • select topic
  • contact authorīs name
  • e-mail address
  • title of the abstract
  • full names of author(s)
  • appropriate affiliation(s)
  • address(es)
  • 3-5 keywords
  • comments
Each registered author can present only one abstract.

Accepted abstracts for this conference will be published in the Book of Abstract which will be available at the conference.


Submission of Papers

Submissions imply the intent of at least one author to register, attend the Conference, present the paper (either orally or in poster format), and submit a full-length manuscript for publication in the SPIE Proceedings.

Selected papers will be published by SPIE after Conference (January 2012) and be indexed in leading scientific databases including INSPEC, Ei Compendex, Chemical Abstracts, International Aerospace Abstracts, ISI Index to Scientific and Technical Proceedings and NASA Astrophysical Data System.

For publishing your paper at Proceedings of SPIE and SPIE Digital Library, the manuscripts should be submitted through MySPIE web by August 1, 2011 for referee procedure. The typical length of your paper will be of 6 pages.

MySPIE submission link and instructions for authors will be posted together with notification of abstract acceptance not later than June 10, 2011.

SPIE Best Student Paper Awards

SPIE sponsored Best Student Paper Awards are designed to encourage and acknowledge excellence in oral and poster student paper presentations.

The students willing to participate in this challenge (author or co-author), please let it known to the Conference chairman (tomanek@feec.vutbr.cz) upon registration. During the conference they must verify their student status, present the contribution, and submit full paper to the Conference Proceedings.
